Message from the President

Enhancing our technological development and responsiveness “technology-oriented” to become a growth company that contributes to society.
SINFONIA TECHNOLOGY has continuously evolved its core technologies—motor drive, power electronics, and system control—over many years. As a “technology-oriented” company that responds to customer needs with technological development and responsiveness, we have provided a diverse range of technologies and products that contribute to the prosperous development of society and industry.
Founded over 100 years ago as an electrical division of a shipyard, we have advanced rotary machine technologies for ships and expanded into automobiles, railways, aircraft, and space rockets. Today, we are entering a phase of further corporate growth, driven by our business expansion in the semiconductor sector, which is indispensable to modern life, and the aerospace sector, which enhances convenience in daily living.

In the semiconductor field, leveraging our strength in precision transport technology, we entered the semiconductor wafer handling equipment market. Our products are now adopted in virtually all semiconductor manufacturing equipment, securing an unshakable position in the industry.
In the aerospace field, since developing Japan’s first wind turbine generator for aircraft in 1920, we have supplied generators, power systems, and actuators for Japanese aircraft and space rockets for many years, earning solid trust.
Under these circumstances, our mid-term management plan “SINFONIA NEXT DREAM” for fiscal years 2025 to 2027 focuses on expanding our technological capabilities in the semiconductor and aerospace sectors, which are expected to grow. Through aggressive “expansion investment” and “renewal and automation investment,” we aim to significantly scale our business and transform into a company that continues to grow into the future.
To further contribute to society and achieve company growth, we are also committed to developing products in the fields of regenerative medicine— gaining attention as the future of healthcare—and automation solutions for logistics, which faces severe labor shortages. At the same time, we are addressing global environmental challenges by developing products that contribute to decarbonization and conducting environmentally conscious business activities to help build a circular society.
Alongside executing this growth strategy, we will enhance our corporate value through dialogue with shareholders and investors, and we are committed to clearer and more timely IR activities than ever before. We sincerely ask for your continued support and encouragement.
May 2025
